Obverse description The obverse features a stylized cartographic composition depicting the railway route between Bratislava and Trnava, with intermediate stations identified by name in the field: PEZINOK, SVÄTÝ JUR, ŠENKVICE, BÁHOŇ, and CÍFER, each marked by schematic circular station symbols connected by track lines. Architectural landmarks are rendered in relief: the Trnava classical station building at upper right, a stone viaduct at center right, and the Bratislava Primatial Palace at lower center. The Slovak coat of arms appears at lower right. The denomination 10 EURO is inscribed across the upper field, with the country name SLOVENSKO arching along the upper rim and the date 2023 at the base.

Reverse description The reverse presents a highly detailed relief depiction of a 19th-century steam locomotive viewed in three-quarter profile, rendered with precise mechanical detail including spoked driving wheels, a prominent smokebox and chimney, a domed boiler, cab, and tender. Above the locomotive, two heraldic shields are displayed side by side: the coat of arms of Bratislava at left and the wheel symbol of Trnava at right. The legend BRATISLAVA - TRNAVA arches along the upper rim, with the date 1873 at the right. The inscription PARNÁ PREVÁDZKA (Steam Operation) occupies the lower field in two lines. The mint mark and engraver's initials appear in the exergue.
