| Obverse description | The obverse features the elaborate papal coat of arms of Pope Francis at center, depicting the Sacred Heart of Jesus surrounded by a heraldic shield with symbols including the Star of David, a bunch of grapes, and the IHS Christogram, flanked by crossed keys and surmounted by the papal tiara and crossed keys above. A ribbon cartouche within the shield bears the motto NEL CUORE DELLA REALTA. The papal motto MISERANDO ATQUE ELIGENDO appears on a curved banner across the lower portion of the shield.
