| Obverse description | The arms of Malta occupy the central field, depicting the heraldic coat of arms supported by two armoured figures flanking a shield charged with the George Cross and a representation of the fortified city, surmounted by a mural crown. The legend CENTRAL BANK OF MALTA arcs along the upper periphery, while the motto FIDUCIA FORTIS and the founding year 1968 appear on a scroll below the shield. Two eight-pointed Maltese cross ornaments flank the design at mid-field. The denomination 10 EURO is inscribed along the lower rim, separated from the central device by a rope-twist inner border. The entire design is rendered in mirror-field proof finish. |
