Obverse description The obverse features a bold, stylized abstract composition commemorating the centenary of Finland's parliamentary reform of 1906. A vertical staff or pole divides the field, flanked on either side by angular, dynamic forms suggestive of outstretched hands or wings rendered in a modernist graphic style. The date '2006' appears in the upper left of the field, while the mint mark is visible at the lower left. The legend '100 v EDUSKUNTAUUDISTUS' (100 years Parliamentary Reform) is inscribed along the lower right rim in Latin characters.
