| Obverse description | Central field features the denomination '10' in large numerals accompanied by the inscription 'EURO' to the left, all set within a geometric hexagonal framework of intersecting lines. Two sprigs — one of olive and one of oak — flank the denomination, symbolising peace and strength. The legend 'RÉPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE' arcs around the periphery in two segments, at top and bottom respectively. The date '2016' appears vertically along the right inner border. The overall design is the standard Marianne-type obverse used for French euro collector issues of this period, engraved by Joaquin Jimenez. |
