Obverse description The obverse features the traditional Irish harp, the national symbol of Ireland, rendered in fine detail at the center of the field. The harp is depicted in the classical Brian Boru style with ornate decorative elements on the sound box and forepillar. The Irish-language country name 'ÉIRE' appears to the left of the harp, reading upward along the inner rim, while the year of issue '2013' is inscribed to the right, also arranged vertically along the inner rim.
