| Obverse description | The obverse features the Maltese coat of arms at center, depicting two armored knights as supporters flanking a quartered shield, surmounted by a mural crown. The shield and supporters are superimposed over a large eight-pointed Maltese Cross rendered in high relief. A decorative wreath of olive branches, roses, and lilies frames the composition along the inner border, interspersed with dot beading.
