| Reverse description | The reverse commemorates the 50th anniversary of the first lunar landing and features a colorized depiction of the Earth's Moon rendered in blue tones occupying the upper right portion of the field. Superimposed upon the lunar surface is a detailed engraving of the Apollo Lunar Module in descent. To the lower left, a large parabolic radio telescope dish — referencing the tracking stations that supported the Apollo 11 mission — is depicted in the uncolored silver field.
