Reverse description The reverse presents three oval-framed vignettes arranged in a compositional grouping, each highlighted with color. The uppermost oval depicts the Palacio de Cristal (Crystal Palace) situated in Madrid's Parque del Retiro, a celebrated example of 19th-century iron and glass architecture. The right oval reproduces a photographic portrait of the Galician writer Rosalía de Castro, drawn by Antonio Portal and sourced from the Moreno Archive of the Institute of Cultural Heritage of Spain (MECD). The lower-left oval features an image of the replica of the Mataró locomotive, on permanent display at the Railway Museum of Catalonia in Vilanova i la Geltrú. The denomination and mint mark appear in the legend.
