| Obverse description | The copper-nickel central core features the German Federal Eagle (Bundesadler) displayed with wings spread in the upper field, rendered in a stylized heraldic manner. Below the eagle, the denomination '10 EURO' is inscribed prominently across the lower portion of the core. The transparent polymer middle ring separates the core from the bronze outer ring, which bears the legend 'BUNDESREPUBLIK' arching along the upper portion and 'DEUTSCHLAND' along the lower portion, interspersed with small five-pointed stars.
