Obverse description The obverse features a stylised relief map of Europe occupying the central field, with the continent rendered in fine detail against a deeply mirrored proof background. The denomination '10 EURO' is inscribed prominently in the upper central field above the map. The trilingual country name legend 'BELGIQUE · BELGIE · BELGIEN' arcs along the outer border, representing Belgium in French, Dutch, and German respectively. The date '2010' appears in the lower exergue, and the engraver's initials 'LL' for Luc Luycx are incorporated into the design.
