| Obverse description | The obverse features a dual-plane composition juxtaposing two iconic representations of Marianne. In the left portion of the rectangular field, a finely engraved vignette reproduces the celebrated Semeuse (Sower) design originally created by Louis Oscar Roty, depicted in full stride sowing seeds against radiating sunrays, with the monogram 'RF' in the upper left corner and the attribution 'D'ap. O. Roty' in the lower left. To the right, a large high-relief effigy of Marianne faces right in a modern sculptural rendering by Jimenez, her flowing hair rendered in sharp detail against the plain field. The denomination '10 Euro' appears in large characters at the lower right of the flan. |
