| Obverse description | The obverse presents a highly stylized artistic rendering of organ pipe clusters radiating outward from the central field in a symmetrical, cross-like composition, evoking the mechanical structure of the hydraulis. At the center, a circular cartouche bears the Greek state arms — a quartered shield with a cross — surrounded by the legend ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΗ ΔΗΜΟΚΡΑΤΙΑ (Hellenic Republic) in Greek script. The denomination 10 ΕΥΡΩ appears to the right of the central cartouche. The entire design, engraved by Geórgios Stamatópoulos, is executed in high relief with a finely milled border framing the composition. |
