| Obverse description | Central device depicts the colonial coat of arms of Portuguese Timor, featuring the Portuguese armillary sphere overlaid with the Portuguese royal shield, surmounted by a mural crown with five towers above five smaller escutcheons. The legend TIMOR arcs across the upper field, while the denomination 10$00 is inscribed in the lower field. Small floral ornaments appear symmetrically in the left and right fields. The design is framed by a beaded border running along the coin's periphery. |
