| Obverse description | Central field dominated by the large bold legend 'ECU' in relief, with the denomination numeral '10' above. A medieval sailing vessel (kogge) is depicted behind the lettering, rendered in low relief. The inscription 'DE NEDER LANDEN' arcs along the upper rim within a decorative ribbon border adorned with twelve stars.
