Obverse description Crowned and draped bust of Frederik III facing right, rendered in high relief with bold portraiture characteristic of mid-17th-century Danish coinage. The king is depicted wearing a closed royal crown surmounted by a cross, with flowing curly hair and an elaborately ruffled lace collar visible below the truncation. A circular beaded inner border frames the effigy, with the Latin royal titulary legend disposed around the periphery between the inner and outer borders.
