Obverse description Left-facing portrait bust of Dr. Miroslav Tyrš in high relief dominates the field, with a falcon depicted above and behind his head. The curved legend along the left reads DR · MIROSLAV · TYRŠ, with his birth and death years 1832–1884 along the right. A small hallmark punch with the fineness mark 987 appears at the bottom of the field.

Reverse description The reverse features a bold multi-line Czech inscription filling the upper portion of the field, commemorating the centenary of the birth of the founder of the Sokol gymnastic movement. Below the inscription, a large falcon with spread wings is depicted in bold relief, symbolizing the Sokol organization. The designer's signature J. BRŮHA appears at the lower right.
