| Obverse description | Draped bust of Empress Maria Theresa facing right, her hair elaborately curled and dressed, with a lace-trimmed bodice and mantle visible at the truncation. The effigy is rendered in high relief in the baroque court portrait tradition. The circular Latin legend reads M. THERESIA. D. G. R. IMP. GE. HU. BO. RE., distributed across the upper and lower periphery of the field. The coin's broad flan is bordered by a continuous beaded or milled rim. |
