| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Leopold I facing right, wearing a heavy curly periwig, confined within an inner pearl border. The effigy is rendered in a baroque portrait style typical of late 17th-century Habsburg coinage, with finely detailed drapery at the truncation. The encircling legend runs along the outer border between the pearl circle and the coin's rim. |

She holds a scepter in her left hand while the Christ Child, also glorified with a nimbus, is seated on her right arm. Beneath the crescent is a crowned twofold Hungarian coat of arms flanked by the divided mint mark. The date appears at the end of the circumscribed legend, which invokes Mary as Patrona Hungariae. |
