Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Leopold I facing right, wearing a laurel wreath adorned with ribbons and armor with ornate detailing at the shoulder and chest, his characteristic prominent jaw and long curled hair clearly rendered. The effigy is rendered in high relief in the baroque court style typical of the Kremnica Mint. The circular legend surrounds the bust, reading LEOPOLDVS · D · G · RO · I · S · AVG · GER · HV · BOH · REX ·, divided by the bust. The field is smooth and deeply struck, with the milled edge visible at the coin's rim.
