Reverse description A radiant sun with a human face occupies the centre of the field, emitting long alternating straight and wavy rays that extend to an inner beaded circle, evoking the impresa of the Gonzaga dynasty. The central solar motif is framed within a decorative square cartouche with scrolled corners, itself set against the radiating rays, creating a striking geometric composition. The Latin motto NON MVTVATA LVCE — meaning 'Its light unchanged' — appears on a ribbon or banner in the lower portion of the field, alluding to the constancy of ducal authority. The mint-master's initials C T are placed in the lower field flanking the ribbon. The design is enclosed by a beaded border with additional decorative elements in the outer margin.
