| Obverse description | Against a deeply mirrored proof field, the central device features the Fijian coat of arms rendered in fine relief, flanked by two traditional Fijian warrior supporters and surmounted by a British lion. Surrounding the arms is an ornate annular band of intricately engraved Chinese-style scrollwork and mythological figures, including dragons and auspicious beasts, executed in a satin finish that contrasts with the polished field. The legend "FIJI" arcs across the upper rim and the date "2013" appears at the base, both in bold serif capitals. A subsidiary motto scroll, carrying the national motto "Rerevaka na Kalou ka doka na Tui," is incorporated within the coat of arms. |
