| Obverse description | Central field features the Arms of Singapore, depicting a shield charged with a crescent moon and five stars, supported by a lion rampant on the left and a tiger rampant on the right, all above a stylised wave motif. | Reverse description | The central field displays a coiled snake rendered in high relief within a raised inner circle, its head facing forward at lower centre with textured, scaled body wrapping in successive loops. Above the snake within the inner circle appear the Chinese characters 巳 (si), denoting the Year of the Snake in the Chinese zodiac. Surrounding the inner circle, arranged along the border of the field, are twelve small relief vignettes representing each animal of the Chinese zodiac cycle, including the rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, goat, monkey, rooster, dog, and pig.
