Obverse description The obverse displays the coat of arms of the Republic of Namibia at centre, featuring a quartered shield supported by two oryx antelopes as heraldic supporters, surmounted by an African fish eagle with outstretched wings. The motto ribbon at the base of the arms bears the legend UNITY LIBERTY JUSTICE. The date 2009 appears below the arms in the field, and the circular legend REPUBLIC OF NAMIBIA is inscribed along the lower periphery. The mirrored proof fields provide strong contrast against the finely detailed relief.

The outer silver ring bears the legend GREAT MONARCHS * WILHELM II. along the upper arc, with the denomination $10 displayed at the lower centre flanked by decorative ornaments.
