| Obverse description | The obverse displays the Fijian coat of arms centrally positioned in the field. The quartered shield bears traditional emblems: a stalk of sugar cane, a coconut palm, a dove with an olive branch, and a bunch of bananas. Atop the shield, a passant guardant lion holds a cocoa pod in its forepaws. The crest above features a traditional Fijian outrigger canoe, while two indigenous Fijian warrior figures serve as supporters on either side of the shield.
