Reverse description The reverse presents a three-quarter front-left view of the 1996 Ford Taurus sedan rendered in fine relief against a flat field, capturing the aerodynamic bodywork, alloy wheels, and characteristic oval headlamp treatment of the model. The legend 1996 TAURUS appears in small letters beneath the vehicle, accompanied by the Ford oval logo. The date 1996 arcs prominently along the upper border, while the denomination TEN DOLLARS is inscribed in bold capital letters along the lower periphery.

Additional information

The Marshall Islands issued a prolific run of commemorative brass dollars throughout the 1990s, most with no meaningful circulation function — legal tender by designation only, produced almost entirely for the collector market through private minting arrangements. KM#324 is part of the zodiac subseries within that output, twelve coins sharing the same specifications with subjects rotated through the signs.

Brass was chosen for cost, not tradition. The Republic had no domestic mint and contracted production abroad.
