Obverse description The full Coat of Arms of Jamaica occupies the central field, featuring a quartered shield bearing five golden pineapples on a black cross, supported on the dexter by a female Taíno figure holding a basket of fruit and on the sinister by a male Taíno figure holding a bow and arrow. Above the shield, a Jamaican crocodile is displayed atop a royal helmet and mantling. A scroll below bears the national motto legend OUT OF MANY ONE PEOPLE. The legend JAMAICA arcs along the upper periphery, while TEN DOLLARS is inscribed along the lower periphery, all within a beaded border. The Franklin Mint mintmark FM appears in the field.
