| Obverse description | The National Seal of the Republic of the Marshall Islands occupies the central field, enclosed within a decorative rope border. The seal depicts a traditional Marshallese stick chart in the lower portion, flanked by a frigate bird in flight to the upper left and a sailing canoe to the right, with a radiant sun above. The legend REPUBLIC OF THE MARSHALL ISLANDS arcs along the upper periphery, while the motto JEPILPILIN KE EJUKAAN curves along the lower periphery.
