| Obverse description | The obverse features the coat of arms of the Republic of Palau at centre, depicting Neptune seated with a manta ray, flanked by a scroll bearing the legend REPUBLIC OF PALAU above. The arms are surmounted by the motto RAINBOW'S END on a ribbon below the shield. Flanking the central design, highly detailed high-relief renderings of the spires and facades of the Sagrada Familia basilica rise on both sides of the field. An inset amber-coloured crystal window element is set into the upper portion of the coin, representing the stained glass of the basilica. The denomination 10 DOLLARS appears in the lower exergue in bold relief. |
