| Obverse description | The central field features the coat of arms of Liberia, depicting a sailing ship, a palm tree, a dove, and a rising sun above a plough and shovel, enclosed within a shield surmounted by an arch. The motto legend 'THE LOVE OF LIBERTY BROUGHT US HERE' curves along the upper interior of the shield. The date '2006' is divided to either side of the arms, with the legend 'REPUBLIC OF LIBERIA' appearing both above in a broad arc and again below the arms on a scroll. The denomination legend 'ONE OUNCE 10 DOLLARS FINE SILVER' is inscribed along the lower rim. The design is executed in proof finish with frosted relief against a mirror field. |
