| Obverse description | A highly detailed antiqued relief depicts the harbour of Carthage, dominated by a grand domed rotunda with colonnaded arcades set against a dramatic clouded sky and mountainous background. In the foreground, two Phoenician galleys with characteristic horse-head prows are shown moored at the quay, their striped sails partially furled, with armed soldiers and sailors rendered in high relief along the waterfront. To the right of centre, a cartouche bearing the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Palau is prominently displayed, surrounded by the legend REPUBLIC OF PALAU and the sub-legend RAINBOW'S END. The denomination 10$ appears in the field to the left of the coat of arms cartouche, and the date 2022 is inscribed in the lower exergue. |

| Reverse description | A richly detailed antiqued relief portrays a bustling commercial street scene in ancient Tyre, Phoenicia, rendered with exceptional sculptural depth. Numerous robed merchants, traders, and townspeople are depicted engaged in commerce along a colonnaded thoroughfare, with a horse-drawn cart visible in the middle ground passing beneath a monumental arched city gate. To the left, market stalls display goods beneath an awning, and a vendor carries a richly embroidered purple textile banner decorated with gold motifs. Applied colour highlights in vivid purple, blue, and gold appear on the textiles and trade goods throughout the scene, evoking the famous Tyrian purple dye for which Phoenicia was renowned. A full moon is visible in the upper field against a dramatic sky of swirling clouds. |
