| Obverse description | The obverse features the official Seal of the Republic of the Marshall Islands rendered in high relief at the center of the field. The seal depicts a traditional Marshallese stick chart navigator flanked by a sailing canoe and a fishing vessel, with a radiant sun above and an atoll shoreline below, all enclosed within a decorative circular border. The legend REPUBLIC OF THE MARSHALL ISLANDS curves along the upper periphery, while the denomination $10 and the date 1991 appear at the left and right sides respectively. The national motto JEPILPILIN KE EJUKAAN, meaning Accomplishment Through Joint Effort, is inscribed along the lower arc. A chain-link ornamental border frames the entire design. |
