Reverse description A heraldic eagle displayed with wings outstretched occupies the central field, its breast overlaid with a vertical striped shield. The eagle holds a bundle of arrows in its left talon and an olive branch in its right, symbols of war and peace respectively. A ribbon inscribed E PLURIBUS UNUM is carried in the eagle's beak. Above the eagle's head, a constellation of thirteen six-pointed stars is surmounted by a arc of clouds. The legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA curves along the periphery.
