Obverse description The obverse bears the coat of arms of Fiji, centrally displaying a quartered shield charged with four emblems of the nation: sugar cane, a coconut palm, a dove with an olive branch, and a banana bushel. The shield is surmounted by a passant guardant lion clutching a cocoa pod in its forepaws, and above the crest rests a traditional Fijian outrigger canoe. The shield is supported on either side by Fijian warrior figures in traditional dress. The peripheral legend reads 'FIJI 2023' along the upper arc, with '3oz Ag 999' and '10 DOLLARS' inscribed in the field.
