Reverse description The reverse presents the facing busts of Jamaica's two founding fathers in bold relief, sculpted by Paul Vincze: Alexander Bustamante in left-facing profile to the left, and Norman W. Manley in right-facing profile to the right, their portraits separated by a central floral spray above and a stylised cartographic depiction of the island of Jamaica below. The legend JAMAICA arcs prominently across the upper field beneath a five-pointed star, with the names ALEXANDER BUSTAMANTE and NORMAN W. MANLEY inscribed beneath the respective effigies. The entire composition is enclosed within a beaded border, with the engraver's initial B visible at the base of the field.
