Obverse description The national coat of arms of Liberia is centrally depicted, featuring a sailing ship, palm tree, and rising sun within a shield, flanked by a dove and an agricultural plow. The date is split to either side of the arms, reading '20' to the left and '01' to the right. The outer legend 'REPUBLIC OF LIBERIA' arcs along the upper rim, while the motto 'THE LOVE OF LIBERTY BROUGHT US HERE' encircles the inner field. The denomination '10 DOLLARS' appears in the lower exergue, and a beaded border frames the entire design.
