| Obverse description | The obverse displays the official seal of the Republic of the Marshall Islands at center, featuring a frigate bird in flight above a traditional Marshallese outrigger canoe and a fish, with a sun rising in the upper field. Crossed traditional navigational stick charts appear in the lower portion of the seal. The circular legend REPUBLIC OF THE MARSHALL ISLANDS arcs along the upper rim, while the denomination $10 and date 1991 appear in the left and right fields respectively.
