| Obverse description | The national arms of Liberia occupies the central field, depicting a sailing ship approaching the shore, a palm tree, a dove in flight, and a rising sun, all surmounted by a scroll bearing the national motto THE LOVE OF LIBERTY BROUGHT US HERE. The date is divided to either side of the arms, with '20' at left and the final two digits at right. The peripheral legend REPUBLIC OF LIBERIA arcs around the upper rim, while the denomination 10 DOLLARS appears along the lower rim, separated from the arms by a secondary scroll inscribed REPUBLIC OF LIBERIA. The coin is bordered by a continuous beaded rim. |
