Reverse description An intricately detailed bird's-eye perspective view of the interior dome ceiling of the United States Capitol rotunda, rendered in high relief with the coin's curved surface accentuating the architectural depth. Concentric rings of coffered panels, ornamental pilasters, arched windows, and elaborate friezes radiate outward from a central oculus adorned with a wreath motif, faithfully reproducing Constantino Brumidi's decorative scheme. The inscription UNITED STATES CAPITOL appears in a cartouche at the upper register, while the denomination 10 DOLLARS is displayed in a corresponding panel at the lower register. The outermost border features a finely beaded rim encircling the entire composition. The antique finish accentuates every architectural detail, creating a remarkable trompe-l'oeil illusion of depth.
