The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank issues this series under a longstanding arrangement that allows individual member territories — Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines — to commission distinct numismatic releases while sharing a single currency union, itself established in 1983.
