One of a set of six gold microcoins issued by the New Zealand Overseas Mint on behalf of Cook Islands to coincide with the release of Revenge of the Sith — the final episode of Lucas's prequel trilogy. Cook Islands had by 2005 become a well-established vehicle for novelty legal-tender issues precisely because its monetary arrangement with New Zealand allowed foreign minting houses to exploit the denomination structure without any obligation that the pieces enter actual circulation.
KM#1136 is one of several character-specific pieces in the set, each struck to the same fractional specification.
