| Reverse description | The central field features a full-color reproduction of the famous 1850 Saxon Three-Pfennig stamp, the so-called Sachsendreier, depicted in red and white with the large numeral 3 at center, flanked by the inscriptions DREI to the left and PFENNICE to the right, with SACHSEN at top and FRANCO. at the bottom, all within a rectangular frame with decorative corner ornaments. Arcing across the upper rim, the legend FAMOUS STAMPS OF THE WORLD SACHSENDREIER is inscribed in two concentric rows of raised lettering. Along the lower rim, the denomination 10 DOLLARS and the stamp's year of issue 1850 are inscribed. The field surrounding the central stamp vignette displays a fine guilloche engraved pattern consistent with the obverse. |
