Obverse description Effigy of Queen Elizabeth II in right-facing profile, diademed, set within an open laurel wreath occupying the central field. The surrounding legend reads EASTERN CARIBBEAN CENTRAL BANK at the top, with 1 OZ .9999 GOLD at the lower left and QUEEN ELIZABETH II TEN DOLLARS at the lower portion, all inscribed along the periphery in Latin capitals. The portrait is rendered in high relief with fine hair detail and a tiara, consistent with the Raphael Maklouf effigy style adapted for ECCB coinage.
