Additional information

Part of a broader wave of micro-gold issues that flooded the collector market in the late 2010s and early 2020s, struck under license arrangements that make Solomon Islands largely nominal as an issuing authority. Raphael's inclusion in such a series is unsurprising — his name sells. What's worth noting is that at 0.5 grams of .9999 fine gold, the metal value at any reasonable spot price barely clears a few dollars, making the numismatic premium the entire proposition.
