| Obverse description | The quartered shield of the Niue coat of arms occupies the central field, surmounted by a St. Edward's Crown rendered in high relief. The shield displays the Southern Cross stars in the first quarter, three galleons in the second, a bunch of bananas and two coconut palms in the third, and crossed hammer and torch in the fourth.
