Obverse description Proof-finish right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, as modelled by Dora de Pédery-Hunt, occupying the central field. The Queen is depicted wearing the George IV State Diadem adorned with floral and foliate motifs, a drop earring, and a pearl necklace, rendered with fine sculptural detail against a deeply mirrored field. The circumferential legend ELIZABETH II is positioned to the left and D•G•REGINA to the right of the effigy. The design is framed by a continuous inner beaded border, with the reeded edge visible at the coin's periphery.
