| Reverse description | Central device depicting a stylised, cartoonish baby elephant standing facing, its trunk raised upward in a playful pose, rendered in high relief against a polished field. The curved legend MY LITTLE INVESTMENT arcs along the upper border, while the inscription 1/2 G .9999 FINEST GOLD curves along the lower border. The date 2016 appears to the right of the elephant in the mid-field, all lettering in raised Latin characters. |

| Additional information |
Part of a broad series of fractional gold miniatures issued through the Perth Mint's licensing arrangements with Pacific island nations, these pieces exist primarily as collector vehicles rather than anything approaching circulating currency. Solomon Islands provided the issuing authority; Australia provided the infrastructure.
At 0.5 grams of .9999 fine gold, the dies had to be cut to exceptional sharpness to resolve any detail at 11 mm — a genuine technical constraint at this scale.
