| Obverse description | Centered in the lower portion of the obverse is the right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II after the portrait by Ian Rank-Broadley, whose initials IRB appear below the truncation. The dominant feature of the obverse is a large central circular glass inlay depicting a dramatic upward-perspective view of the illuminated Eiffel Tower against a vivid sunset sky rendered in hues of orange, red, and purple. The outer silver field bears the legends ELIZABETH II to the left and SOLOMON ISLANDS across the top, with the denomination 10 DOLLARS to the right and the date 2019 at the top center. The fineness and weight indicators 5oz and Ag999 flank the royal effigy at the base of the coin. |
