| Obverse description | The obverse of this yang-shaped fine silver coin features the right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Susan Taylor, set within the upper curved lobe of the yin-yang form. The legend ELIZABETH II and D·G·REGINA flank the portrait in the field. Delicate cherry blossom flowers are rendered in low relief across the lower portion of the obverse field, lending an elegant East Asian aesthetic to the composition.
