Additional information

The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank issues currency on behalf of eight member states — Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and Anguilla — all of which share the EC dollar as their common currency. This 2022 piece was produced in the final months before Elizabeth II's death in September of that year, making it among the last gold issues from the ECCB to carry her effigy under an active reign rather than as a memorial.
